· B-roll footage of streets of Los Angeles and the surrounding territories which show to the audience how dangerous the gang is
· Enhancing shots have been used to show the gang members and their guns
· Mid shot of gang member being interviewed so that the audience can see what he looks like
· Close up of gun and gang tattoos which will remind the audience what this documentary is about
· Rule of thirds being used through out to make the documentary look more professional
Sound
· Gun shots signifying criminal activity and making the audience think about how tough the life is for the gangsters because of the everyday shooting
· Driven by narrator ( voice of god ) so that it look more professional to the audience
· Non-diegetic sound playing as theres is footage of dead bodies being shown
· Also there is use of ambient sound to show the audience the background noises of what’s going on
· Use of cross fading between A and B roll while gang member is talking about the "hood" and then the footage of hood comes up as he is talking about it
· Use of cross-cutting has been used to attract the tension between the audience and documentary
· Cutaway has been used to make the documentary look more professional because of cutting away the non important stuff
· Fast cutting has been used to attract the audiences tension as the documentary is fast cutting between different shots of gang related things like guns and gang members

· Archive footage/ pictures has been used to show the audience how the gang is working and who are the victims of their cold blooded murders
· Talking head shots are with dark red background, the red background has been used because red signifies blood, danger and anger so it all links up with the criminal activity that is going on on those neighbourhoods
